Hubby and traveled cross country in 2012 from Florida to Oregon to move to the Pacific coast. It was one of the scariest, most exciting things I’ve ever done! We sold and/or gave away 90% of our belongings, packed our truck and moved 3,000 miles away.

I took photos along the way but unfortunately, I lost all of them when my backup hard drive crashed. But, once we got here, we traveled north and south on the coast visiting many places along the way.

I had never seen the Pacific West Coast and the beauty of this area just takes my breath away. We went to many areas all these years until recently when the pandemic started.

I created this Travel section to showcase some of the pics hubby and I took. It’s kind of a journal within a journal! But I wanted to have a place to go to remember those wonderful memories we had as we traveled. And, though we’re not going out much anymore, it’s nice to see these pics and reminisce.

This photo gallery includes pics spanning North in Yachats, Oregon at the Ocean down to Heceta Head Lighthouse and beach to South down to Reedsport to see the Roosevelt Elk to further down the coast. Sometimes we just pulled off the road and took pics of whatever we thought was interesting!
