God nor His word changes. Thousands of years after it was written those words still have life today. It’s awesome to serve The Lord knowing that He isn’t fickle. He isn’t wishy-washy, He doesn’t make promises and break them. He cannot lie and He’s incapable of being evil towards us. He’s my anchor and it feels so good to know that no matter what, He won’t break down, be too busy for me, or ignore me. Think about that for a minute, isn’t God good?

Our ups and downs don’t sway Him. He’s not governed by what chains us down. He’s not sitting behind red tape or has His hands tied and can’t act. He’s not afraid to use His authority to lead His people. He’s longsuffering, not wishing anyone be lost in the end and yet at the same time, He won’t allow injustice to continue indefinitely. He knows when to move and how to orchestrate the events in our lives, even through this pandemic, to ultimately give Him the glory.

The last time I looked, He doesn’t change, He doesn’t go back on His word and He loves us as passionately as ever. You don’t have to wonder if He will forgive you when you mess up. He will. You don’t have to hope He won’t leave you when you need Him. He won’t. He knows how to make a way when there seems to be no way. He loves to show us just how powerful and awesome He is. The Lord is a solid rock that you and I can count on every day, all day long and forever.
