The Holidays are once again upon us and coming in a hurry! It’s time to start thinking about Thanksgiving and for my house, I love to cook all the side dishes even though it’s just me and hubby. There’s something about the aroma of sweet potatoes and turkey with all the trimmings in my kitchen. Makes me feel so warm and reminds me of growing up in Chicago.

Mom would always want a big Thanksgiving dinner for us and I loved learning her techniques and even tweaking them when I grew up. This dish is one of my favorites and I don’t think there’s ever been a Thanksgiving that we didn’t serve this.

Sweet Potato Casserole
