I was the tallest in my grade school…taller than the girls and taller than all the boys. I stood out like a sore thumb and school was one place you didn’t want to stand out and be noticed like that. You can just imagine all the teasing I got. I developed a stigma about my height, but eventually I did grow out of it. I still would like to be shorter though! hee heee!

Grade school, I wanted to blend in and be like everyone else, but there’s one place where I want to be tall and that’s before Jesus. My faith is essential to me, it’s my lifeline that I don’t want to fail. I want to stand tall and be noticed by God and He be proud of me. And, I’m not talking about a physical height, for example in the case of Zaccheus (Luke 19:1-10), it’s evident, tall and short doesn’t matter to Jesus.
