PINS I’m Lovin’ this Month” is a new series to GUIG and I’m really excited to do this. It’ll be a post I do at the end of every month highlighting my favorite Pinterest PINS. Pinterest is such a great site to go to for inspiration. If you need decorating tips, healthy recipes, DIY project inspo, Pinterest is the place to go!

So, what types of PINS will you be seeing in this series?

I’m glad you asked! I’m very much into crafting, home decor, food, fashion and fabrics! My style usually leans on the neutrals, minimalist, shabby chic with a touch of modern and lot of glam! If you want to see my boards, I’d love to have you follow me!

How many PINS will you share per post?

I would say anywhere from 5 up to 10. I don’t want the posts to be very long + I will add why I like the PINS and I don’t want my commentary to be too long either.

So, for the month of August, these are some of my FAVS:

Turn those old Christmas Cards into a Book! This is a brilliant idea and not just for old Christmas cards but what about other cards you’ve gotten in the mail? It could be “get well”, “thinking of you” as well as birthday or other cards that were special to you that you don’t want to throw away. For me, since I make handmade cards, I could take the ones I really want to keep for myself and turn them into a book!

My Dream Farmhouse Kitchen! This design brings the country indoors even if you don’t live anywhere near the country. I’ve always loved old, rustic and vintage decor and furniture so one of my dreams for a house is to decorate it this way. Love this kitchen’s high ceilings, old wood and white countertops that gives that airy light feel!

Decorate on a Budget! Pretty much anyone who knows me knows how bad hubby and I want to afford our own home. Well, part of that is the decorating expenses and how expensive everything is. We like the rustic look and particularly the farmhouse decor captures my heart. And what I like about this PIN is she shares some really good ideas for decorating that can be both fun and affordable.

Beautiful Crochet Beanie Hat. Isn’t this hat just the cutest? The designer used Lion Brand’s Ice Cream yarn (I always loved LB yarns), with single crochet and half double crochet stitches (my fav stitch)! This beanie can be whipped up in a day! Unfortunately, I can’t crochet anymore but I’ll never stop loving yarn!

I picked this PIN for no other reason than the pretty flowers cause I just love how they can dress up a room and put a smile on my face!

I think this is the perfect PIN to end this post and that’s to let you and I know that we don’t have to try to figure everything out. I don’t have to worry or analyze my life’s circumstances to death. I just need to hold onto His unchanging hands and trust Him that He has the outcome and He absolutely knows what He’s doing all the time.

That’s all for this month! Hope you enjoyed these PINS! We’ll do it again in September!
